Duplicates
Location: ReportsDNA toolbar | Tools | Duplicates
The Duplicates tool can be used to remove, highlight, find, flag and count duplicates (see figure 1).
This tool will make a COPY of your worksheet and display the results on the COPY.
Before you select the duplicate tool you must select the headers and data to be processed (see figure 2).

List of fields available in the data set. Check the fields to define what uniquely identifies a record. In this example, the First Name combined with the Last Name define a unique record. |

Toggle to indicate if the Unique ID is case sensitive |
| 4 | Duplicate Flag Options |
These options can be used to flag duplicates. The 3 options are described below and active based on the tool chosen in section 1. No - duplicates are not flagged. This option is typical when duplicates are removed. Count - a column is added to the data and is populated with the number of times the record occurs in the data. Flag - a column is added to the data and is populated based on the Flag Values (see section 5). Duplicates will have the Duplicate label (default value is True). |

| 6 | Submit/Cancel buttons |
Submit executes the currently selected tool. Cancel closes the form without executing the tool. |
